How Do I Use the Library?
- Must have a picture I.D. and proof of a current address
- May check out 2 books on initial visit
- Must be a patron for 2 weeks to check out reference books, equipment, & DVD/Videos
- Books that are 7-day cannot be renewed
- 7-day books cannot be checked in and then back out to immediate family members
- Books cannot be checked out in someone else’s name that is not present
- 7-day books can be held for 24 hours
- 1 Reference book per family
- Non-fiction books on same subject may be limited per family, based on availability
- Books on hold can be renewed as long as it is not a 7-day book
- After initial 2 books are returned, 25 books can be checked per family
- Renewals may be made in person, on website, or by telephone.
- Late fee of $.05 per book, per day will be assessed, there is a $5 limit per book.
- What if my materials won’t renew?
- The item has been requested by another user
- The maximum renewal limit has been reached
- Movies cannot be renewed
- Library account is blocked due to accumulated fines of more than $5.
- Must be a patron for 2 weeks and be in good standing to check Videos
- Must be 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s license
- Videos & DVD’s cannot be checked out in someone else’s name that is not present
- May borrow Videos/DVD’s for 7 days ~ up to 3 at a time
- Videos/DVD’s cannot be renewed
- Late fee of $1 per day for late Video/DVD’s
- Late fee of $1 per Video/DVD if they are returned via bookdrop
- Late fee of $1 if VHS Videos are not rewound
- Late fines can be reduced or deleted in the case of sickness or death in family
- No checks or debit cards accepted, cash only
