Our Mission Statement

The Taylor County Public Library provides materials and services to help community residents obtain information to meet their personal, educational, and professional needs. With the use of written, audio, and computer technology, the library serves as a learning and educational center for all residents of the community.

Beginning June 4th, stop by and sign up for Summer Reading Program. Enroll week 1 to receive a cool "Read" Bracelet!
This year offers programs for all ages, babies thru adults!


 




Family Movie Night: Tuesday, May 22nd at 6 p.m. Free Family Fun!











The Princess Tea Party was Just Lovely...with 16 Princesses and 12 Adult Princesses in attendance!





Teens ages 13-18 ~ Let Your Talent Shine @ Open Mic Night at the Library! Tuesday, May 29th at 6 p.m. Come prepared to share your talent..Sing, Share Poetry or a Short Story, Do a Comic Routine, Karaoke. All Performers will receive Free Pizza

Tuesday, May 15th at 9:30 a.m.: Books for Babies, ages 0-2 yrs.

Preschool Story Hour: Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
May 17th: Ducks
May 24th: Memorial Day
May 31st: Monkeys

Elementary Story Hour: Thursdays at 3:30 p.m.
May 17th: Sign Language
May 24th: Memorial Day
May 31st: Introduction to Summer Reading Program

Free job Search & Career Workshop. Learn tips and techniques to  improve your chances of getting a job. Find out the best websites  for job searching in this area. Explore careers that you can obtain  with 4-18 months of training
Friday, May 25th 2-4 p.m.

  • The default check out time is now 2 weeks!
  • There are over 20,000 ebook titles and more are added each day!
  • For extra help or information on ebooks, drop down the library tab at top and click on "ebook Information"
